We are a professional horse transporter based in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands. Close to the Derbyshire border, and a stones throw from the M1.

Teversal Horse Transport is a Defra approved and fully licensed horse transport company.
We hold an animal transport type 2 certificate and are listed with PRP and Equity Redstar Rescue Services. Our lorry is regularly checked by a VOSA approved garage and must comply with rigorous safety checks.
We are horse owners ourselves and are fully aware of how much our equines mean to us. Our drivers are experienced female horse handlers and every horse is treated with the utmost care.
There are no cruel loading methods and we will give the horse plenty of time to load.
We do regular work for Saxelby Sports Horses.
We will travel to anywhere in the UK and make several trips to Newmarket and Philip Lever Hulme Equine Hospitals.
We are happy to carry tack ie saddles, bridles and rugs (provided soiled rugs are bagged) but for safety reasons, cannot carry bales of hay, straw or rubber matting.

The lorry
Our new lorry is a 4 tonnes equitrec supersonic and can carry 2x 17.2 hh horses safely. A security camera is fitted in the horse area so we are able to keep an eye on the horses whilst in transit.
It has a very low ramp.
We have satnav and carefully plan all of our journeys.
On trips over 8 hours, we can provide overnight accommodation for your horse. UPDATED LORRY PHOTOS TO FOLLOW SHORTLY.

Payment
We do ask for a 25% deposit to confirm all bookings.
Payment may be made by debit/credit card.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of transportation by debit/credit card or cash, but we regret that we no longer accept cheques.
